Publishing activity of the gallery was parallely developed with exhibiting activity. Almost for every exhibition a catalogue was printed as the most certain document of its taking place, and it represents an irreplaceable resource for researchers. The catalogue was often made in a way that its graphic design and general appearance show the content and the meaning of the exhibition. As a publisher and co-publisher the gallery published 190 catalogues of exhibitions, as well as several monographies such as two of the kind on Nadezda Petrovic, Bogic Risimovic Risim, Branibor Debeljkovic or on private art collection of Sinisa Paunovic. In the mid nineties publishing of expert publication has started – The Heritage, with the goal of publishing of all works that deal with art problematique, art critic or research in the area of art and culture that are mainly included in the activities of the gallery. In the same period it was seriously considered to start with Special Editions, translations of the foreign expert literature. The first step was publishing of Edgar Wind’s Art and Anarchy. The edition Balance deals with literally valuable work whose themes are plastic and visual art and culture.
